CEO & Co-Founder
Adam Gordon is a talent pipelines and talent brand expert. Adam is co-founder of Candidate.ID and founder of Social Media Search, a talent branding and talent pooling company that works with in-house HR and talent acquisition teams internationally.
Prior to SMS, Adam was marketing director for a recruitment agency, in recruitment communications with HAVAS and a consultant in the Human Resource Services practice at PwC.
Adam is an NLP Master Practitioner with qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

COO & Co-Founder
Scot is a demand generation and marketing automation specialist.
Prior to co-founding Candidate.ID, Scot established McRae&Co in 2005 to help some of the UK’s fastest growing B2B companies prosper.
With a deep understanding of the technology, strategy and programs required to engage today’s hard-to-reach candidates Scot is a specialist in talent pipeline strategy – how to build and nurture a talent pipeline based on marketing best practice.

Bill is a true global tour de force in the world of recruiting with a career spanning over 3 decades. He has led the way in connecting people within the recruiting industry from around the globe and now operates in 5 key areas: integrating social recruiting for corporate companies, organising and hosting #Tru events around the world, content production, product consulting and key-note speaking.
Bill has recently joined Candidate.ID as our Lead Advisor and we are looking forward to benefiting from his wealth of experience and insights in our world.

Billy is a talent acquisition technology and sourcing leader with over ten years’ experience in implementing technology solutions and candidate attraction / sourcing strategies.
His specialities include talent mapping, advanced sourcing and recruitment training. Billy’s passion is improving recruitment by developing strategies that put the candidate first at every aspect of the process..
| CHRISTINE BLACK
Head of Client Services & Operations
Christine has been with Candidate.ID right from the beginning. As well as sitting at the helm of projects with international clients such as IQVIA, Mondelez, Accenture and Thermo Fisher Scientific, she also deals with all people issues and keeps the office ship shape.
Christine has 17 years professional experience having gained her marketing qualifications from the CIM. We’re exhausted just thinking about it, but she still has enough energy to squeeze in her love of fitness and spending time with her family.
| STEVE WARD
Head of Staffing Agency Solutions for Candidate.ID
Steve has been recruiting for over 20 years, and is generally regarded as one of the first practising ‘social recruiters’, and is recognised globally for his practical innovations in building inbound talent flow over the past 10 years where in most part he ran a social recruitment agency.
He has now taken on a new role as Head of Staffing Agency Solutions for Candidate.ID where he will embed his methodology of candidate attraction through targeted content marketing.
| IAIN COCHRANE
Iain is Technical Lead at Idox plc where he’s worked for 15 years (since University!).
He is an experienced Java developer who now focuses on full stack programming, delivering responsive, client side solutions and helping bring new technologies on board.
| ALASTAIR BLAIR
An award-winning copywriter and author, accomplished researcher, trainer, social media and analytics expert, Alastair has more than 25 years’ experience in recruitment marketing, including heading the recruitment and marketing division of Euro RSCG Riley (now Havas People) across the UK.
He oversees Candidate.ID’s client content production and, independently, offers a wide range of consulting services in recruitment, HR and the media, through thePotentMix.
| RICHARD BEATTIE
Richard is a technologist with a passion for innovation and assisting entrepreneurs realise their ideas.
Over the past 13 years Richard has worked with over 100 early stage technology companies assisting them in raising equity investment, building executive and non-executive teams and taking new products to international markets.
| DARSHAN KUNDI
Originally from London, Darshan has now made Glasgow her home, and her strong financial background which makes her perfectly suited to keeping Candidate.ID’s finances on track.
On top of being an Excel Wizard, Darshan has experience as a voluntary counsellor for a children’s charity and harbours a deep wishes of being a Grammy – winner worthy singer.
Darshan is an incredibly valuable member of the Candidate.ID team, especially because she will loyally laugh at everyone’s jokes, even the terrible ones.
| POLLY BARNES
Polly works with businesses to develop talent and talent acquisition strategies particularly aimed at the attraction and retention of highly skilled knowledge workers from in-demand sectors. Key areas of expertise are key-role pipelining, Candidate and Employee experience journeys and millennial-retention strategies. Her experience comes from working as a Talent and Talent Attraction Lead at C-Suite level on a global basis within the fast-growing tech and digital sectors. Environments where employing the best people is critical to creating competitive advantage.
With a background in brand strategy and communications as well as talent, she applies the customer-centric approach of marketing to the field of talent.
| JULIE HOUDIN
Marketing & Customer Success Manager
Julie is a creative and ambitious individual with 10 years of extensive marketing experience in both B2C and B2B. She has a proven track record for developing and delivering high-quality marketing campaigns that demonstrate ROI.
Business driven, she has an eagle eye for gathering all the necessary information to deliver laser focused insights and what strategy is required for growth. Julie’s main focus at Candidate.ID is to produce engaging and effective campaigns to identify ‘Hire Ready’ candidates. Julie is a rugby supporter and is aiming to visit each VI Nations stadium.
| FRANCIS CORRIGAN
Digital & Creative Manager
Francis is a creative and inspiring digital designer. After graduating with a First class honours degree in Creative Computing, Francis joined the team to share his expertise and innovative design visions.
Francis knows Candidate.ID like the back of his hand and plays a key role in the continuous development of the platform. In his spare time, Francis feeds his love of underground music by attending gigs and has recently taken up climbing.
| FINLAY MACFARLANE
Database & Technical Manager
Finlay has over 5 years’ experience of database building and analysis. He has expert insight into the most effective and innovative database management tools on the market and is a specialist in data analysis.
Finlay is a dedicated and driven individual who strives to build, manage and analyse company data to provide invaluable business insight. Finlay is a sporting enthusiast and when he is not at the office you will probably find him at the local gym or on a football pitch.
| SIOBHAN BRADY
Talent Sourcing Specialist
Siobhan worked in retail whilst studying at Glasgow Caledonian University, where she graduated from with a BA Hons Marketing in 2011.
She is an experienced member of the Candidate.ID research team, and has been sourcing for almost 5 years. Siobhan has worked with some of our key clients and she is currently working with the teams at Mondelez and Wunderman to help them find the best talent.
When she’s not working with our favourite snack producer, Siobhan loves holidaying in sunnier climates like Gran Canaria, spending time with her family & friends or watching a good Netflix series.
| JENNIFER FINGLAND
Jennifer joined the team after graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University with an Honours degree in Business Management and Marketing. An experienced member of the Candidate.ID research team, Jennifer has over three years of sourcing and research experience.
She has extensive experience in all forms of social media as well as deep knowledge and understanding of advanced sourcing and research techniques. Jennifer is an animal lover and enjoys walking her two family dogs. Outside of work, she spends most of her time catching up with family and friends.
| KAREN AUCHINCLOSS
Karen is a valuable member of the Candidate.ID’s team with her extensive experience in recruitment consultancy. She has a strong background in headhunting across many industries including Pharmaceutical, Marketing, Industrial and Commercial.
Karen is involved in multiple projects at Candidate.ID but her most recent projects have been sourcing top Marketing talents for international advertising companies and is currently sourcing for International Pharmaceutical companies.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys going to spin and Zumba classes and spending time with her family.
