Adam began his career in recruitment in 1999 with the company that is now Hudson, before working in recruitment marketing with Havas, in human resource services at PwC and as a director at Norman Broadbent plc. He holds a BA from the University of Strathclyde and post-graduate qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and American Board of NLP.
Adam is responsible for the ongoing development and execution of Candidate.ID’'s business plan and entirely committed to making sustainable, automated talent pipelines available to the world's most sophisticated employers and agencies. You will find him talking about this online and on stage every week day. In addition, Adam intends to continue creating rewarding careers for those who share Candidate.ID’s vision, in Glasgow and other important locations.
Adam played rugby for 30 years and now enjoy squash, Motown, swimming with his kids, listening to non-fiction book summaries on Blinkist and watching Bloomberg Technology.
Co-Founder & Chief Revenue Officer
Scot McRae trained in marketing at P&G before founding his own marketing automation consultancy, working with many of the UK’s fastest growing technology companies. Co-founded Candidate.ID with Adam Gordon in 2016, launching the product formally in 2017 for Fortune 500 and equivalent employers, RPOs and sophisticated staffing companies globally.
As Chief Revenue Officer, Scot combines strong demand generation skills with international sales experience to build the qualified opportunities required to meet Candidate.ID's ambitious growth objectives.
First and foremost it's family. Scot is a dad and a husband and those things most certainly anchor and bring balance to his life. Then it's about adventure.
Customer Solutions Director
Steve has been recruiting in both agency and in-house for over 20 years and with a focus in the past 12 years on the candidate journey, talent attraction and digital engagement; and was considered by many as the "first social recruiter". Ever-present at the forefront of candidate engagement innovation, Candidate.ID has provided the perfect home for his desire to create optimal candidate experiences for recruitment teams.
Steve' heads up the Customer Solutions team at Candidate.ID, and ensures that we build greater awareness and understanding of talent pipeline methodologies with our customer audiences. Steve is highly visible in the industry and acts as an accessible primary point of contact for recruiting leaders who wants to understand how they can make the magic happen.
When the end of the Candidate.ID ends, the outside world starts with his 2 fabulous boys and their sporting endeavours and passions; whether it's football, cricket or whatever new thing they want to try! A season-ticket holder with his kids at Brighton & Hove Albion, and also a youth coach at his local cricket club.
Customer Advocacy Director
Billy is a recruitment specialist and worked in the industry since 2005 with both in-house and agency teams across the globe in senior end-to-end recruitment, sourcing and marketing roles.
Billy leads the customer success and product teams within Candidate.ID, which has the responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction and providing product that helps give a competitive advantage in the recruitment industry.
Billy enjoys rugby, technology, and spending time with his two cats, Missy and Molly. Oh and his girlfriend too.
People and Operations Director
Christine has almost 20 years professional experience having gained her latest marketing qualifications from the CIM. Her background includes marketing roles both agency and client-side before a transition to recruitment technology.
Christine has been with Candidate.ID since the beginning. As well as sitting at the helm of projects with international clients such as IQVIA, Mondelez and Thermo Fisher Scientific, she also deals with all people issues and keeps the office ship shape.
When she's not in the office you will find Christine in the gym, spending time with her family, or planning her next holiday!
Chief Financial Officer
Jane is a qualified Chartered Accountant from Grant Thornton and has spent 13 years working in the technology sector. She has spent the past 5 years as CFO of an AIM listed international software company. She has gained invaluable experience having undertaken multiple acquisitions, disposals and fundraisers.
Jane is responsible for all aspects of the company’s finance function, including leading the evaluation of new international markets. She is working closing with the Candidate.ID CEO Adam Gordon on acquisitions and investment opportunities.
When not at work Jane enjoys music and renovating her house.
