Glasgow based technology start-up Candidate.ID won the talent acquisition startup competition at UNLEASH World Conference & Expo in Amsterdam last week.
The company was founded in 2016 by Adam Gordon and Scot McRae and positions itself as offering the optimum solution for HR’s biggest challenge; that of creating talent pipelines. Candidate.ID is an automation product which allows employers such as Capita, Nationwide Building Society and Specsavers to provide a superior candidate experience while reducing time-to-hire by 50%.
Co-founder and CEO Adam Gordon said, “We are delighted with this external validation. The panel of judges who assessed our pitch include recruitment leaders from some of the biggest employers globally and their feedback has given us considerable confidence to now grow our company fast in the coming years.”
The company’s board advisors include well-renowned finance expert George Elliot who, as chairman, sold Two Big Ears to Facebook in 2016 and Bill Boorman, founder of the world’s biggest recruitment events organisation.
The founders are currently talking to investors internationally about providing funding to build the team from 15 to 25 and treble revenue during 2019.
The company says it will announce a CFO in the coming weeks who is joining from a London listed technology company.
