Sharing their expertise with us was Gerry Crispin, Co-founder of CareerXroads and the godfather of candidate experience, Noel Brown, Global Talent Acquisition Leader at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Jon Stanners, Head of Global Talent Engagement at Telefonica Alpha. The #TalentTalk focused around the candidate journey and how organisations can enhance the whole experience for candidates.
Gerry discussed 5 critical practices that were important in ensuring that the candidate experience is the best that it can be. If you’re not covering all of these areas, then your candidate experience is not up to scratch. Candidates have expectations and it’s vital that you do your best to meet them. Every organisation is at a different level of maturity in their candidate experience evolution and Noel Brown shared his experience of this at Thermo Fisher Scientific. They are starting to build up their knowledge and practical experience of enhancing the candidate journey. Jon Stanners also gave us further insights in to treating candidates like customers as essentially this is what they are. You need to take candidates on a journey where they are able to make an informed decision at the end of it.
