“Working with Mott Macdonald over the past year has been a super rewarding experience for me. We’ve run a number of campaigns set out to target professionals within different sectors of the organisation. However, for me, I found a real highlight to be their post-pandemic events campaign.
“As you can imagine, running any event post-pandemic had its challenges. This meant that we had to be a little creative and think outside of the box. To keep all attendees safe, and to comply with social distancing guidelines, we came up with a solution for event signups – embedding Candidate.ID via a QR code to encourage attendees to sign up without any human contact.
“Targeting the defence and energy sector, 60 candidates were entered into a nurture campaign which subsequently invited attendees to the event. From this campaign we were able to track and score candidate engagement, building a pipeline of cold, warm and ‘hire-ready’ candidates. The results of the email campaign were a success with an average open rate of 78%, and 75% of candidates clicking on the link to take them to the job vacancy.
“I think my favourite part of this campaign was working alongside Senior Recruiter, David. Having known David prior to working with Candidate.ID, we have a brilliant working relationship which made the process that much easier. By working together and thinking creatively, event attendees were exceptionally high, ultimately cutting down on time to hire and increasing the number of hires per recruiter. Despite some of the post-pandemic challenges we faced, this campaign was a success. “
