The Witherslack Group is a UK based company providing inspirational education and care to children and young people. With 2000 employees, Witherslack focuses on Specialist Educational Needs (SEN) – supporting the most vulnerable children with complex needs, creating better outcomes for their futures.

Their main hiring challenges are Head Teachers, Registered Managers, Clinical Roles (such as Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists), plus Teachers and Teaching Assistants, and Residential Support Workers. A key challenge is the high volume and high attrition for Residential Support Workers which takes up most of the recruitment team’s time. This is coupled with an insufficient supply of talent across the UK care sector.
